23.05.24 – S Insurance gears up for continued growth with new board
The new board provides the marine insurance agency with important expertise and experience in key strategic areas. On the 23rd of May, S Insurance appointed a new board of directors.

Since the start in 2015, S Insurance has grown to become a relevant and trusted player in the marine insurance market in the Nordic region and Europe.

01.12.22 – We are pleased to announce that Morten F. Basthus has been appointed as Chief Underwriting Officer of S Insurance AS as of 01.12.2022.
He joins us from Skuld Marine Agency AS, where he held the position as Senior Vice President Head of Underwriting Oslo, Hull.
Morten’s extensive experience and knowledge of the market will further develop our underwriting team and product offering and we are excited to welcome 2023 with him on our team!
06.09.22 – We are pleased to announce that with effect from July 2022 we are representing Brace Underwriting Limited at Lloyd’s of London under Consortium 9642. Brace will support and complement our Marine plan for the next few years. Our focus continues to be on Marine Hull, Loss of Hire, War, Cargo and Special Risks.
07.12.2021 – We are delighted to announce that with effect from 1/1/2022 S Insurance AS has been accepted as member of Cefor.
